Lawn Coring

Lawn Coring is the process of manually, and usually mechanically removing cores or plugs of soil, grass and roots from the ground. This core is then deposited on the surface. What then occurs to the plug is your choice, it will break down in time, you may mow it on low without a catcher and it can act as a top dress.

Coring allows the carbon dioxide and oxygen exchange in the roots to occur, allows water and nutrients to access the roots, relieves compaction issues, and promotes a healthier lawn. Ask us today for some free advice on how to best manage your asset.

We also have the PROCORE PROCESSOR made by TORO, which is ideally suited to larger applications, whereby it sweeps, pulverises deposits and rolls the cores back on top of the grassed area surface, returning it back to playing/useable conditions quicker.
